I was born in 1970, in Rennes (France), and I've been living near the sea since 2001. I studied at Beaux-Arts schools in Rennes and Rouen, and then at a graphic arts school (Peninghen) in Paris for four years. More and more now I'm doing illustrations for non fiction books. The themes are very different: the middle ages, the crusades, egyptians, romans, indians, inuit, Pompeii, sea and pirates etc.... Now; I'm working for several publishers as Casterman, Hatier, Fleurus, etc.... and Usborne in U.K. Last October, I did illustrations for a book about a French sailor and adventurer, Mr De Laprouse, who was engaged by King Louis XVI to explore the pacific ocean. Sometimes, I'm also author and illustrator together. Those books are my favourite, stories about Guillaume le conqurant and George Catlin.
