After leaving school to work for Barclays Bank I stayed there, somewhat reluctantly, for four years then escaped to art college and became a freelance illustrator in 1986. Started Beehive in 1990 and I'm now constantly amazed and impressed by the standard of artwork which passes over my desk or across my screen - never fails to inspire. If you're not sure what you want or would like to see samples just ask me.

Ellie BarryProject Manager

I originally joined Beehive as a work experience student. In 2003 I returned having graduated from the University of Plymouth with a degree in Illustration. My role now as Project Manager is the first point of contact for all new and ongoing work. I oversee both Christina and Erin but we all work closely as part of a team. Neil ChapmanIllustrator

Spending many childhood holidays with various releatives in rural Wales, the craggy hillsides and beguiling seascapes were a perfect backdrop to stir up a love for myths and fantastical tales. In 1989 I graduated from the University of Central England and while working in other fields throughout the nineties, I continued to produce a wide portfolio of published work using watercolour based mixed media and coloured scraperboard. Since 2001 I have been a full time Illustrator represented by Beehive and in 2007, joined the team. I live in Gloucestershire with my wife and our two young Children.

Christina Barrattprojects assistant to Ellie

Before joining the Beehive team I spent 3 years studying a degree in Photography and Digital Imaging. I specialised in landscape and nature, and spent some time working for a wedding photography company. My role at Beehive is Project Assistant to Ellie. I deal with any ongoing jobs, so please come to me if you have any a/w or comments to pass on. Also please let me know if you have any queries with a current job, and I’ll be happy to help!

Erin HollebonChocs Away

I'm the newest member of the Beehive team, I joined in August 2006. I deal with contracts and Chocs Away, so if you have any questions regarding either of these please get in touch and I'll be happy to help!

Karen BeebeeAccounts

Before Beehive, I worked for NatWest Bank. I started working with Paul when our youngest child started at Nursery and have increased my role within the business as the children have grown up and the business has expanded. Please contact me with any queries on invoices, purchase orders etc.
