Where are you from?
I'm originally from São Paulo, Brazil.
What inspired you to be an illustrator?
I've always been drawn to picture books! The ability to tell stories visually in a universal language has always fascinated me.
How long have you been working as an illustrator?
I've been working as an illustrator for eleven years now.
How would you describe your illustration style?
I would describe it as cartoon-like with vibrant colours, expressive characters, and a good dose of humour.
Who/what have been your key influences as an illustrator?
I've been influenced by animated cartoons from the 2000s and advertising flat illustrations from the 1950s.
What type of projects, clients, or illustration markets do you like to work in?
I'm open to a wide range of projects and clients. I'm interested in editorial work, advertisements, games - basically, anything that allows for a bit of fun and carries a meaningful message.
What do you like doing when you are not illustrating?
I enjoy indulging in good food (I'm a big eater!), traveling, reading, and watching horror movies!
