New Artist: Shiroug Idris

We are very proud to represent Shiroug Idris. Shiroug is based in Sudan. Her work is inspired by African folklore and mythology, she focuses on representing Afro-Arabian heritage. Shiroug's portfolio is diverse and she is able to work in many different styles.
"I have been working as an illustrator for over 5 years mainly freelancing. The books that I've read as a child and the cartoons I saw on TV have always inspired me, since then I've wanted to pursue a career as an illustrator. I'm interested in illustrating children's books and editorial illustration. When I'm illustrating, I daydream about stories that I can tell visually."
