I am an experienced and published illustrator, with a strong background in visual storytelling and character design, After graduating in the UK, I began my career as a model maker at Aardman Animations. Now living in Sweden, I have published several picture books which have been translated into several languages. Working in animation has had a great influence on my approach to illustration and I enjoy focusing on the eccentricities that lie just below the surface of everyday life. I begin my illustrations predominantly in acrylic, editing and finalising in Photoshop or ProCreate to create digital final artwork. The process of telling a story through my paintings is central to my work and my drawing skills lie in character design and exploring the quirks that make up creature's and people’s personalities.
