In all that I do - drawing, cooking, walking, contemplating, family, music - there's a common draw to the wild for inspiration. I live within a whisker of the M25 but my heart is in the wild spaces and with bare feet on the earth - which I find even here. From colouring books to conservation projects, from language learning books to logos and murals I'm interested in both depth and lightness, meaning and humour. Recent projects include an RSPB conservation project on a tiny island off the Northumberland coast, extendable colouring books, drawings for a book of nature meditations, a Bible for colouring, search and find books for learning a second language, alongside private commissions and occasional folk music gigs in our front room. I use mainly a dip pen and inks, with forays into watercolour and homemade, natural inks.
