I’m Victoria Taylor and I live and work in Newent, Gloucestershire with my husband and two young children.After gaining an illustration degree from Plymouth University, I worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for many years. But drawing and painting is my passion - so when my young son William started school, I decided that to be around more for him and my daughter Verity, I could work from home and do what I love at the same time :) I now work in my garden studio, which is surrounded by fields and woodland. When I first started freelancing, I was mainly designing greeting cards, but now I have branched out into children’s book illustration which I am loving. I have quite a few different styles, ranging from traditional to quirky, to cute and to contemporary. I love textures and patterns and I mainly work with acrylic and pencil crayon.
